The main purpose of designing the ViewBox was to archive and maintain the legacy system data. View box protects the older information in a systematic manner. This information might not be needed for everyday operations but can be accessed whenever required.
It is of great value for any organization since it reduces the primary storage and the associated costs along with the functions of a data recovery tool.
The Export Centre allows you to export optimized data from the tables, views, document archives and DART (Data Retention Tool) segments. It gives you the freedom to download the entire data or some part of it as per the requirements.
The Export Centre manages your exports so that you are not stuck waiting on one page for a report to be generated.
You can visit the Export Centre to quickly download the export even if you misplace an earlier export, may be from the past few days.
Multiple tables, views and DART segments can be optimized and selected for exporting, thereby making it even more user-friendlier and hassle free.
The ViewBox enables you to execute multiple export jobs, which can be tracked through an export dashboard.
Hence, Export Centre a reliable and efficient tool for Data Exportation in the View box. Here, profiles are also used to pre-configure the different setting categories of the content to be exported and/or the format of files to be exported.
You need to have Profiles to export any data from the Export Centre in the View Box.
With AvenDATA’s ViewBox, profile creation becomes an easy process. You need to select the type of document you want to export, enter a unique profile name and select the file format by selecting one of the 2 format options available. You also have the flexibility to limit the number of rows as per the requirements.
Once configured, the profiles can be used without going through the configuration details for the repeated exporting processes. This makes the process hassle free for future exports.
You can also modify an existing profile, by selecting the profile to edit/modify. You can either modify the profile details like Export Category, Export Format and Row Limitation or use the profile as it is. The profile is saved with the required changes.
For tables and views, the creation of new profile is the same. You only require Profile Name and Row Limitation information while exporting DART or Document Archive.
The View box allows you to export data from the Export Centre in two formats as mentioned below:
Excel / CSV format – The ‘Comma Separated Values’ format is a popular file format. Here, commas are used to separate the data values.
The GoBD – GoBD format is a German tax-compliant format.
You can select any of the above formats so that the exported data is compliant with user’s requirements and fosters ease of access.
The export files are then zip archived, to be downloaded from the export dashboard.
